Privacy Policy

FarmerStage is a business-to-business agricultural marketplace operated by Gurusmart Technology LLC (United States). This policy explains what we collect from buyers, suppliers and their delivery contacts, and what we do with it.

• Account details: name, email address, password credentials handled by our authentication provider.
• Business profile: company name, business type, address, certifications, contact person.
• Contact details: contact email and mobile or landline phone number you enter yourself.
• Trading records: purchase requests, quotes, orders, invoices, payment status and payouts.
• Delivery records: shipment status, delivery location data reported by the assigned driver during an active delivery, delivery confirmation codes and proof of handover.
• Messages you send through the platform, and text messages we send or receive about your orders.

We use your information to operate the marketplace: to match buyers and suppliers, to process orders and hold payments until delivery is confirmed, to coordinate shipment and handover, to resolve disputes, to pay suppliers, and to meet legal, tax and anti-fraud obligations.

FarmerStage operates a transactional SMS program in the United States. If you opt in, we send text messages about activity on your own orders only: order placed and accepted, payment held in escrow, order ready, shipment departed, driver arrival and delivery problems, delivery confirmed, delivery message notifications, dispute updates, payout sent or blocked, and support messages when a delivery is blocked.

Consent is optional and unchecked by default. It is collected in the app next to the phone number field (your company profile, supplier onboarding, and the purchase request contact step) and is stored against your user record with the date and time of the opt-in and the exact wording you agreed to. We do not send text messages to anyone who has not opted in.

Message frequency varies by order activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop all FarmerStage texts, START to resume, and HELP for support information. We never send marketing or promotional text messages, and we never send verification codes or one-time passcodes by text.

Mobile information and SMS consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is sold, rented or shared for advertising. Phone numbers are disclosed only to our messaging provider for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you asked for.

• The other party to your transaction, so a delivery can be completed (limited to what is needed).
• Our payment processor, to take payment, hold funds and pay suppliers.
• Our messaging and email providers, solely to deliver notifications you have asked for.
• Our hosting and database provider, which stores the platform data.
• Authorities or advisers where we are legally required to disclose information.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

Supplier storefronts and product listings are public. Buyer delivery addresses, phone numbers, exact delivery locations, driver identity and payment details are never shown on public pages, including public shipment tracking pages.

We keep trading, delivery and messaging records for as long as needed to run the marketplace and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Access to sensitive records is restricted at the database level. Delivery confirmation codes are stored only as an irreversible hash and are cleared once a delivery is complete.

You can edit your profile and contact details at any time in your dashboard, turn SMS consent off at any time using the same checkbox or by replying STOP, and request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Some records must be retained where law requires it.
